My Journey
At 17, I started my fitness journey.
I hated the way I looked in the mirror.
I felt stuck in a body that didn’t match the confidence I wanted.
It showed in everything I did, or didn’t do. I was quiet, self-conscious, and second-guessed myself. I wanted better friendships, more attention from girls, and to feel proud of who I was, but my body held me back.
I hid under baggy clothes, avoided pictures, and skipped social events. At school, I felt invisible and awkward.
One day, I decided enough was enough. I had to change—not just how I looked, but how I felt about myself.
But I didn’t know where to start. So, I turned to YouTube and Instagram for advice. Big mistake.
I heard everything from "Don't eat carbs" to "Cut all your favorite foods" and "Eat chicken, rice, and broccoli every meal."
I tried it all: strict diets, insane meal plans, and advice from people who didn’t understand my struggles. But I gained weight in all the wrong places, face, love handles, and man boobs.
Then I tried losing body-fat by starving myself
Eating as little as 1500 calories a day for months.
I’d go home starving after work
I’d devour anything I could find—cookies, leftover pizza, ice cream, you name it.
